About Simplicity Giving
When you are asked for financial support, you will often hear the scripture passage from Luke 12:48 where Jesus says, "To whom much has been given, much is required." The burden of this passage is often placed on the giver, but instead we would like to reflect a moment on us, the receivers.
We know and understand that you have an enormous amount of choice, and we do not take your decision to support Seton Parish lightly. We will always be good stewards of your gift, using it to strengthen the faith of our members, feed and clothe the needy of our community, and embolden the discipleship of our youth.
Seton Parish needs faithful givers like you to support our daily operations. Your regular giving through the offertory will help fund our ministries and outreach, religious education of our youth, adult faith formation, music, staff salaries, monthly utilities, building and grounds, and all the administrative costs you would expect to find at a parish of our size.
In short, it is your financial commitment that helps us keep our doors open and allows our parish to fulfill our mission on a daily basis.
As you reflect upon the amount based on your blessings and income, also consider the manner in which you financially support our parish.
