You must create an online account at https://www.virtusonline.org/
2. Obtain BCI and FBI Fingerprinting
No volunteer may work with minors without the results of the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) background check. There is a cost of $37.00 for the BCI background check.
In addition, if you have lived in Ohio for less than five years, you will also need to complete a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) fingerprint background check. There is a cost of $72.00 that includes both the BCI and FBI checks.
If you are obtaining these for the purpose of becoming a Seton Parish volunteer, the parish will reimburse your expense. Please bring your receipt into the parish office.
For fastest results, Seton Parish recommends completing these checks at:

3. Complete Protecting God's Children® Program
In addition, all volunteers who will work with minors in our parish must complete the Protecting God's Children© (PGC) Program. There is no cost for the PGC session. The program is conducted year-round throughout the diocese at various parish facilities.
You may access its schedule and sign up for a program through virtus.org. A copy of your completion certificate should be returned to the parish. Once you attend a PGC session, your certification follows you to most dioceses that uses the Virtus program.
