About Cranks Creek Shoe Drive
Each year, the parishioners of Seton Parish donate over 1,300 pairs of shoes to the children of Harlan, Kentucky. For many of these children, this will be the only pair of shoes they will own for the entire year.
Like many of our outreach programs, we require not only the amazing generosity of our parishioners, but the involvement of our youth who physically visit these schools and place the shoes on the feet of these children.
2023 Shoe Drive
Please pick up a colored sheet containing a child’s name and shoe size from Herrmann Hall. Purchase a pair of shoes and return the shoes to Herrmann Hall before October 1. If possible, we highly encourage purchasing a pair of socks for the child as well. We are also accepting monetary donations to cover the cost of food and travel for our volunteers that will be delivering and placing the shoes on the feet of the children.
