What is Alpha Pre-Marriage Course?
The Alpha Pre-Marriage Course is a 5 week course designed for couples who are engaged or discerning marriage to help build, strengthen, and continue to grow your relationship with each other.
The course aims to equip you with tools to build a healthy marriage and to strengthen the connection between you as a couple.
Through a weekly video and private journal you will be able to reflect, talk, and dream together about your future. There are no right or wrong answers and no one else will see your journals. You will be pausing at various points during the video to allow you as a couple to have conversation.
We’re confident that as you engage with the material on The Pre-Marriage Course, you’ll find out more about what your partner thinks and feels. However long you’ve been together, there’s always going to be more to discover. It’s only as we continue on this journey of discovery about each other that we stay connected.
The Guest Journal
There is a guest journal that accompanies the video and provides material for your private discussions. The book is available as both a free digital copy or a hard copy that you can order. It is recommended that each participant have their own copy of the book or a notebook to write in separately if using the digital copy.

Who should attend?
Any couple who is engaged or discerning marriage. The Alpha Pre-Marriage Course will equip you with tools to build a healthy marriage and to strengthen the connection between you as a couple.
Do I need to be Catholic to attend?
No. The Alpha Marriage Course is open to anyone regardless of religious affiliation.
Do I need to be a member of Seton to attend?
No, it is open to anyone.
Is there a cost to the program?
No. However, you will both need a copy of the guest journal. You can choose to purchase a physical copy or download a free digital version.
How long does each session last?
Each session is approximately two hours.
How long is the program series?
It runs once a week for five weeks.
