Seton Parish parishioners were led into the church today by Father Jim Klima, Deacon Hector Raymond, the Knights of Columbus, and members of the Renovation Steering Committee to bury their cross filled with prayer intentions. Parishioners filled out prayer intention cards over the last three weeks and placed them into the cross, which is now positioned directly below where the new altar will be constructed. A procession formed, following the 11:15 Mass, from the Worship Center to the church with many people taking part in this very important ritual in the history of this parish. Father Jim blessed the cross as it was placed in the gravel and many people assisted in shoveling gravel over the cross to cover it. Photos from this event can be viewed by clicking here. Corna Kokosing continues to work on the church daily and their progress can be tracked by visiting our Renovation Page.
